Langtang is region in the Himalayas of Nepal bordering Tibet occupying over 70 glaciers of different sizes, Himal mountain ranges and high altitude lakes including Gosainkunda, Parvatikunda, Bhairavkunda and Dudhkunda. Glaciers spawned by the slope of Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Lirung and other peaks feed the Langtang Khola (river). Langtang River flows through the high, Langtang valley before emptying in a ridicule torrent into the Bhote Koshi River from a long, narrow debase at the west end of the valley. But many massive rivers flow south from Tibet cutting through the Himalaya chain, the Langtang Khola, a major tributary of the Trisuli Ganga, flows east to west across the grain of the country. Trekkers can also trek the Langtang valley and Gosainkunda Trek as combined it can be also the best package. The region is rural landscape compromising of villages, terraced farms and forests encircled with green hills with a backdrop of white Himalaya ranges. The trek starts from drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,610 m) by bus after driving around 7 hours. From Syabrubesi we travel forward towards Langtang valley (3,541 m) by staying some nights on hotels till we reach Langtang valley. After that trekkers also trek from Langtang valley to Kyanjin Ri (4,773 m) after that trekkers back towards Kyanjin Gompa. From KYanjin Gompa to Chorka Ri (5,050 m) and again back to Kyanjin Gompa. Similarly we moved towards Langtang valley from syabrubesi on the same way we trek down towards syabrubesi and after that drive back towards Kathmandu.
