Trip Introduction

The Kori Trek in Nepal is a quiet and less-explored trail in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The main highlight is reaching Kori Danda (3,800m), a grassy ridge that offers breathtaking views of Annapurna II, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Lamjung Himal, and even Manaslu on clear days.

Unlike popular routes such as Annapurna Base Camp or Ghorepani, this trek remains relatively untouched, making it ideal for those who want a more authentic and peaceful Himalayan journey.

KEY ATTRACTIONS:

  • Sikles Village (1,980m): A traditional Gurung community with slate-roofed houses, terraced fields, and rich culture.

  • Alpine Forests & Flowers: Rhododendron, pine, and oak forests that are especially vibrant during spring.

  • Kori Danda (3,800m): Wide meadow ridges with stunning Himalayan panoramas.

  • Thulek Viewpoint (4,200m): A side hike with an even broader mountain outlook.

  • Offbeat Charm: Fewer trekkers, simple trails, and warm local hospitality.
