Day 03: Flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot

Get up promptly the following morning for the flight north to Simikot, the locale central command of Humla arranged upon an edge sitting above the Humla Karnali River. The flight is fabulous, cruising directly over the highest points of a mass of snow-secured tops. Simikot is a varied town, and its area as the door to Mount Kailash and Western Tibet gives it an assorted vibe. A blend of neighborhood Humla and Tibetan culture gives unending and entrancing chances to the investigation. Simikot is situated at just about 10,000 ft (3,000 m) of rising, so you will probably feel the impacts of height. Relax today, ensuring you drink a lot of water and accepting breaks as you meander around the town.

Day 04: Trek to Dharapuri

Your trip today begins with a short move of about an hour to a little disregard that is only 9,800 ft (3000 m). After the pass, it's a long and steep plunge to Dharapuri. Your trip today will take around 4-5 hours, and will take you high over the Karnali River, incompletely through pine woods, and go through a couple of towns. En route, you will meet nearby individuals, both Hindu and Buddhist, who are once in a while conveying their substantial loads as far as possible up the lofty path. This evening is your first evening outdoors, with the site situated close to the Karnali River.

Day 05: Trek to Kermi

Your walk today is somewhat short, allowing you to recoup. The path continues following the Karnali River, here and there high on the slant, with the stream far underneath you, and at times plunging down so the path is practically level with the water. This area of the waterway finds its way through thin crevasses with high rough slants. You will stroll along fields of mostly grain, buckwheat, rice, and potatoes.

Toward the evening you can unwind in one of the two common natural aquifers near the town. It’s a 30-minute tough walk, passing Kermi town. Kermi is a little agrarian town and is the first totally Buddhist town on the path (from Kermi onwards, all the towns are Buddhist). There are two intriguing religious communities near Kermi: Laikyo Gompa, a couple of hundred years of age, is around a short way from the campground and Lhundrup Choeling Gompa is around a little ways from the camping area. Both are only sometimes visited by vacationers.

Day 06: Trek to Yalbang

This segment of the walk experiences delightful pine woodlands. Underneath you, you will see the emerald green Karnali River. Now and again you may meet processions of donkeys and dzopas (a crossbreed of yak and dairy animals). The explorers are for the most part townspeople from Simikot and the Nyinba Valley toward the east of Simikot. They are going to (or are returning from) Taklakot, directly over the fringe with Tibet, to purchase products for exchange.

You will reach Yalbang following 5-6 hours of journey. Over the town, there is a wonderful cloister: the Namkha Khyung Dzong Monastery. You will see you are getting close to the cloister by an immense stone with a Tibetan mantra cut on it. The Namkha Khyung Dzong is the greatest religious community in the area, with around 130 priests living there. A Buddhist priest will be glad to show you around, after which you will be welcomed for tea higher up. At 7 am and 4 pm there is a day by day puja (Buddhist petition service) that you can join in.

Day 07: Trek to Tumkot or Trek to Muchu

Leaving Yalbang, the way goes high over the Karnali River once more. After around 20 minutes you will pass the little town of Yangar. The way is for the most part "Nepali Flat": flat parts, with some tough, and some declining. A few segments of the way are fabulously cut out of the stones, and you will find yourself strolling in a sort of three-sided burrow. You'll see nature changing as it is getting rockier and the huge pine trees clear a path for littler hedges. You cross the Karnali River by a major wooden engineered overpass.

Here, the way moves high over the Karnali River and along the upper side of a profound crevasse. Beneath, you'll see the emerald green Karnali River. En route, you may experience huge flocks of sheep conveying salt, an old exchange that despite everything exists today. Following 3-4 hours, you will show up in the beguiling town of Muchu. Itʼs an hour stroll to Tumkot—the primary path doesnʼt go through Tumkot Village, yet rather by some little teahouses and a campground. The complete journey today will take 6 hours.

Day 08 : Trek to Yari  or to Thado Dunga

Leaving Tumkot the path climbs gradually however consistently, with a couple of steep ascensions in the middle. Quite not long after leaving the town, you will see the scene changing: it's getting increasingly rough and ruined. A couple of trees left are low junipers. Some portion of the path goes over the soil street that is being worked right now.

It is as yet questionable when and if the street will ever be finished. You will cross the little town Pani Palwang—two or three tea houses along the street—which makes a pleasant spot for some tea or a mid-day break. Itʼs another 1 ½ hour to Thado Dunga, soon after Yari. Your journey today will take 7 hours aggregate, and you will camp simply past the Yari town.

Day 09: Trek to Hilsa across the Nara La Pass

Today you cross Nara La and go at 14,000 ft (4,330 m). It's a long and tiring ascension, however, the perspectives are your prize! As the path climbs, the scene gets more barren. Trees vanish totally and the scene looks increasingly more like Tibet. In some cases, you will experience huge parades of donkeys or yaks (the greater yaks are a particularly noteworthy sight). You will pass a couple of teahouses at Tado Dunga, and from here the path gets more extreme.

It’s still 2 hours moving to the pass, and if there happens to be snow it will take somewhat more. Regularly, this current day's trip takes 5-6 hours. At about 30 minutes from the pass you will cross a couple of huge tents (these are tent inns, serving nourishment and beverages). You can see the Nara La go out yonder, yet because of the elevation, it's as yet a hard move to arrive. You will perceive the pass by the heap of stones (it carries good karma to include one!) and the strings of Tibetan petition flags, diverting the supplications far with the solid breeze. You have stunning perspectives ahead into Tibet and back towards Yari far beneath.

On the opposite side of the pass, it would seem that you are in Tibet. You are encircled by desolate mountains in tones of earthy colored, coppers, debris and dim yellows. From the pass, it's a long plunge to Hilsa, near the outskirts of Tibet.

Day 10: Trek to Manepeme

Hilsa is the closest port of Tibet-during the high season you will see a huge number of Indian travelers crossing the fringe towards Mount Kailash in Tibet. After breakfast, you will cross the engineered overpass of the Humla Karnali River and quickly turn north through the recently assembled street towards Limi Valley, as you can't cross the Nepal-Tibet fringe. This valley is well known for snow panthers and bharal, Himalayan blue sheep. In the wake of journeying for 4-5 hours, you will camp at Manipeme at a height of 12,900 ft (3,930 m). The camp gets its name from the Mani Mantra engraved on an enormous stone.

Day 11: Trek to Til

From Manipeme you will cross the Chenglungma parade campground before going to the old cavern of Cha-sa Nam-ka Dzong. It is found simply up the slope, underneath the path in a rough precipice, and faces south into the sun.

The present separation looks short, however, the path from Hilsa to Til is somewhat intense and takes nearly 7 hours. It's dry, inclining, and goes here and there. You are strolling through the Trans Himalaya Dread Path, which gets its name from the harsh landscape and the overwhelming pack creature traffic. Proceed cautiously on the path as you explore the yaks and sheep, which are coming back from the outskirt with completely stacked exchanging packs.

There are three towns in the Limi valley-Til, Halji, and Jang. It is arranged at roughly 13,500 ft (4,100 m) and is encircled by grain fields at the western side of the town. On the correct side of the town, you'll find a the300-year-old religious community of Kunzum Do-Nag cloister, which merits visiting.
