Trip Introduction

Chandragiri Hill (2547 m) lies on the south-west side of Kathmandu Valley and is 7 km from Thankot. This hill is connected with both Buddhist and Hindu religions.

You'll take a cable car ride to reach Chandragiri Hills’ top station. The 2.5 km long cable car ensures a smooth and safe trip, all the while giving you an up-close view of the untainted wilderness. At 2,547 meters above sea level, the view tower gives you unobstructed 180-degree panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Everest. From the Annapurna ranges to Mt. Everest, the snow-capped peaks feel like they are just an arm’s length away from you.
