Among most of us are well known about Mount Everest but some may be unknown about the Mount Everest base camp trekking. This is really breathtaking trekking route, the close view of Mount Everest is awesome and there are many others good looking views. On other side it is also important to know that Nepal is rich in history, culture and traditions and along natural beauty. Thousands and thousands of visitors, trekkers and climbers step on Nepal each and every year. This trek towards Everest base camp is also very famous to view Kala Pathar from close crossing over 5,000m above sea level. Those trekkers who have already trekked on the different parts of country also carry the thirst of challenging trekking on Himalayas of Nepal.

There are different seasons and different season’s carries different weathers they are autumn (September to November), winter (December to February), spring (March to May), summer (January to August). Autumn season (September to November) provides clear weather and holds moderate temperature also. Rarely short storms may tip snow at high altitude. Excellent weather with clear sky offers the outstanding mountain views on this season. Winter (December to February) is the season to have a snowfall at higher elevations in Himalayas. It’s sure to be cold on night after having snowfall on the higher elevations but at the day time it offers a blue sky and a clear day. This season carries less number of trekkers on the trails relatively. We need to be smart in choosing the season for trekking and climbing but the winter trekking crossing through high pass trip is also an ideal option in this trek. Trekking trails like Everest base camp trek, Annapurna Circuit trek, Dhaulagiri trek, Annapurna Sanctuary trek and others instant Everest trek can be done on winter. Spring (March to May) is especially the season known as the blooming season. Many varieties of wild flower along the national flower of Nepal (Rhododendron) make the hillside hunting paradise in this season. It carries moderate temperature at high altitude and mildly warm at lower level of altitude. Summer (June to August) season is also known as the wet and warm season. This is summer season which offers little hot comparatively and humid. These times are blessed for the keen as the higher valleys and meadows blossom with flowers and lush vegetation. This season is rainy too so this season increases the northern trails trekkers number. Northern side’s trails towards upper Mustang and Dolpa are ideal trek selection because these areas are least rainy trails of Nepal.

There are four seasons but among them autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) are two distinct seasons for trekking Everest base camp. Due to excellent weather condition with moderate temperature and clear sky this two seasons are considered as the trekking seasons. As a result offering great mountain views and other beautiful sceneries can be easily and clearly viewed in these seasons. The climate and temperature condition also remains best to trek. Special blooming flowers on the dense forest are offered only in spring season. You can also trek in December, January and February but it will be very cold at higher elevation. The temperature decreases down up to (-20°C to -30°C) and there snow may fall at any time. Trekkers also should have well experience of high elevation and well maintained equipments and safety to hike on this challenging winter. If you want to trek on this challenging month then you should be well and deep attached to weather delay and forecast also. So, analyzing and studying all, my special favorites trekking months goes March October and November.

If you are also thinking to trek Mount Everest base camp than start planning and building your physical strength and stamina from now these can help you more and more.
